Duncan Sutherland PhD

Dr. Duncan B. Sutherland is the founder of TwentyGreen. He has worked as a research immunologist at leading international institutes including the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR, Australian National University), the RIKEN Institute in Japan, and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland.

His work has focused on host–microbiome interactions and the development of microbiome-based technologies. At EPFL, Dr. Sutherland has been involved in the development and protection of intellectual property related to archaeal microbiome applications.

Through TwentyGreen, he is committed to translating discoveries emerging from the EPFL research ecosystem into scalable biotechnology solutions with global impact.
